Well done to all the camogie teams that took part in our camogie championship blitz today. A very high quality was on show from Menlough, Duniry, Garbally, Ballymacward and Clonfert. Our girls played excellently winning 3 games against Menlough, Garbally and Duniry. It came down to our final game against Ballymacward to decide who went through to the final. Unfortunately, we were defeated by a strong team and we wish Ballymacward the best in the final. A really enjoyable days camogie.
Thanks to all that helped out, we are very proud of the girls’ performances today and training all year. Future’s looking bright for Eyrecourt and Galway Camogie. A special mention also to our young TY students, referees Katie, Saoirse and Aideen.
